Chevron Snowman Card

Hi there! I haven't posted to this blog in almost two years (WOW!) but now I'm back!  My oldest son was living with us and since my craft room was the only room available, I had to pack up and put away all my crafty goodies.  My little craft room is slowly coming together again and I have been playing with some scraps here and there just to see if I could still make stuff! LOL!
I don't normally use sketches to create my cards, but I made this card using the Poppy Sketches sketch #16.  So much fun to be creating cards again and also using one of Laura's sketches.  Ah, the good ole days!
One of the sketch requirements was to use chevron in your creation, so I dug through my scrap box and found some chevrons in Christmas colors.
Of course I just used scraps to create this cute little card, but the button snowman is one of my old creations that I decided to add to this card.  You can see my original creations HERE and HERE.
This stamp is a Kim Hughes stamp and it was perfect for my little card with a snowman on it.  I just stamped it on Kraft card stock and cut it out in a banner shape.
The whole front of the card is popped up off the base using foam tape.  My card measures 4 1/4 X 5 1/2.  It's available in my Etsy shop if you're interested!
I'm so happy to be creating cards again.  Thanks for the inspiration Laura!

Thanks for stopping by today. Please come again really soon, but until then...have a lovely day!  HUGS! :)
